About Clive Born in St. Kitts and moving to Bermuda when he was ten, one day while Clive was playing around in school, a teacher took him aside and told him to “either sing or go to the principal’s office. “I decided to stick to the singing,” he said. Called one of Bermuda’s “most exciting vocal talents”, ten years ago Clive formed part of the musical trio the Lost Boyz and Cross Culture as well as winning the Annual Teen Conference Talent Show. Performing live at fashion shows, graduations, the Premier's first concert in 1985 and other functions Island-wide, he also collaborated on the Bermuda Christmas Collection and Cross Culture in De Area albums. |
Now the moment Clive has been working for has finally come: the 33-year old chef-turned-technical analyst has finally gotten the opportunity to record his own solo record. Clive is still in the process of single-handedly creating the album which, although un-named as of yet, will be different from Clive’s old stuff – more R&B flavoured with Clive’s own unique style. He hopes to complete the project by mid-June or July. “I enjoy life – I take advantage of all the opportunities that have been handed out to me,” he says. “I am fortunate to be in this industry. I love music … I want to do it as a career, not just for fun. It’s something that’s been an interest for me for many, many years … That’s where my heart is right now.” |
