Question Saturday, December 26, 2009
Dear F&I: can we please raise the age for general entry into night clubs and venues. I think because there is a lot of young individuals that are becoming of age, a lot of them don;t know how to act inside a venue with alcohol. The DNA of generation has change, and the mentality of young individuals are not what they use to be. As a whole, we try to raise the bar to suit the economical change, can we please raise the age of entry into clubs. Im not saying that 25+ are more responsible, however change can be good. I am sure that you guys have walked in a club once or twice and you were the oldest people there still in you 20's and the only person that was in your generation was the bartender and the bouncer. What do you think?

Well I agree with you in many ways and yes i would like to see alot of clubs handle the age differently maybe on certain nights have a certain age group.....the thing is that these club owners want as much money as possible not saying that older adults dont spend but it seems to me that the newer generation spend more wrecklessly for the alcohol.....This is a question maybe you should throw at Mr. Brown...

I cant say that I totally agree with you because the legal age is 18 to drink. Perhaps establishments need to ID more for underage drinkers, which is something that a lot of establishments are not good at. That might be a solution right there.
